Configuration

GB Partner Link needs no settings. As soon as the module is activated, the external-link button appears automatically on all contact cards. This page describes the one-time setup.

Prerequisite

Administrator rights in Odoo are required for the following steps.

Activate the module

1. Open the Apps app.
2. Remove the preset Apps filter from the search field.
3. Search for GB Partner Link.
4. Click Activate.

Odoo then reloads the contact form. The button is available immediately.

Note

The preset filter hides extensions such as GB Partner Link. Without step 2 the search will not find the module.

Settings

The module comes with no settings of its own. There is nothing to enter, switch on, or enable per user.

Permissions

The button follows the permissions your staff already have for contacts. Anyone allowed to see a contact can open it with the button. Anyone not allowed to see it receives the usual message about missing access rights. Restricting the button to individual user groups is not supported.
