AtlasPlus Versand Export

AtlasPlus Versand Export extends your outgoing deliveries in Odoo with a complete German export declaration. You enter all customs-relevant data directly on the delivery — header data and goods items — have the record validated, and generate an XML file from it. You then upload that file to IAA-Plus and submit it to ATLAS-Ausfuhr from there.

Customs data is created where it arises anyway: on the delivery, from the master data of your products and contacts. There is no need to key everything in again in the customs portal.

The module's screens are in German

Odoo's own interface follows your user language, but this module ships no English translation: its tabs, field labels and buttons are always shown in German. This documentation therefore gives every label exactly as it appears on screen, with an English explanation next to it — for example Warengruppe Nr. (product group number). The screenshots show an English Odoo with the module's German labels, which is what you will actually see.

Key features

  • Export declaration on the delivery: A dedicated Zoll (customs) tab on every outgoing delivery, holding all header data of the declaration — parties, customs offices, goods location, transport, documents, packages and containers.
  • Goods items created automatically: The delivery lines become the items of the declaration — one per product — including gross and net mass from the product master data.
  • Grouping goods items: Products sharing the same item key can be grouped into one goods item and ungrouped again at any time. Which product lines make up an item stays visible.
  • Official code lists: Customs offices, package types, procedures, document types and other key registers are kept up to date automatically and offered as dropdown lists.
  • Master data instead of typing: Commodity code, country of production, masses and statistical value come from the product; identification number, branch number and contact person come from the contact.
  • Default values: Recurring entries are stored once — generally, per delivery address or per country of destination — and loaded into every new declaration. Alternatively you can copy the entries from an earlier delivery.
  • Validation before export: The record is first checked against the customs service. Only after a successful check can the XML file be generated.
  • XML as an attachment: The finished file is attached to the delivery, where it stays traceable and easy to find.

What the module does not do

Note

The module does not submit anything to ATLAS itself. It prepares the declaration and produces an XML file. Uploading, signing and submitting still happen in IAA-Plus in the customs portal. Assessing a case in customs terms likewise remains with you or your customs advisor.

Requirements

  • Odoo version 18.0
  • The Inventory, Contacts and Accounting apps are installed
  • Access to the customs service (address and key) used for validation and XML generation
  • An EORI number for your company
  • An account in the German customs portal for the later submission via IAA-Plus
  • Administrator rights are required for setup and master data

Note

This documentation describes version 18.0 of the module. If you are using a different version, please select it from the version menu above.

How this guide is organised

The guide follows the order in which you put the module into operation:

  1. Installation and configuration — one-off setup: access to the customs service, default entries, reference data, access rights.
  2. Preparatory tasks — the master data without which no declaration is complete: products, contacts, goods locations, default values.
  3. Day-to-day processing — the daily routine from the delivery to the finished XML file and its submission in IAA-Plus.
  4. Glossary — every term and abbreviation you will meet in the module.

Tip

If you are using the module for the first time, work through the three sections once in order. The first two are done only once; the third accompanies you on every export.
