Day-to-day processing¶
This section takes you through the daily routine: from the delivery, through entering the customs data, to the XML file you upload to IAA-Plus.
The process at a glance¶
- Create and validate the delivery. The delivery lines become the goods items of the declaration. → Starting a customs declaration
- Load default values. Copy recurring entries with one click. → Using default values
- Enter the header data. Parties, customs offices, goods location, transport, documents. → Entering header data
- Enter the goods items. Commodity code, masses, statistical value, procedure. → Entering goods items
- Check. The record is validated against the customs service. → Checking and exporting
- Export. The XML file is generated and attached to the delivery. → Checking and exporting
- Upload and submit in IAA-Plus. → Continuing in IAA-Plus
Note
You can work on steps 2 to 4 in any order — with one exception: always load default values first, because loading overwrites list entries in the declaration. See Using default values.
When a delivery becomes customs-relevant¶
The Zoll tab only appears on a delivery when all three conditions are met:
- it is an outgoing delivery (a delivery to the customer),
- the Zollanmeldung (customs declaration) checkbox is ticked,
- the delivery is in the Done state.

What the module fills in for you¶
When a delivery is created, the module already sets a number of entries:

| Referenznummer/UCR | sequential number in the format EX/000001, assigned as soon as the delivery is done |
| Anmelder (declarant) | your company |
You can overwrite every default entry in the individual declaration.
