Using default values

Default values save you re-entering the same data over and over. You will find the controls in the Zoll tab, Anmeldung sub-tab, right-hand column.

The concept and the strategy behind it are described under Creating default values.

Important

Always load default values first, before you record list entries such as the route, documents or packages. Loading clears these lists.

Load default values

  1. Open the Anmeldung sub-tab.
  2. In the Standardwerte laden field, choose one of the three options:
  3. Generelle Standardwerte (general default values)
  4. Standardwert für diese Lieferadresse (default value for this delivery address)
  5. Standardwert für das aktuelle Empfängerland (default value for the current country of destination)
  6. Click laden (load).
  7. A note is added to the delivery's chatter recording that default values were loaded.

Possible messages:

Message Meaning
„Bitte wählen Sie eine Lade-Option aus." You have not made a selection.
„Keine generellen Standardwerte gefunden." Nothing has been stored for this kind yet.
„Keine Standardwerte für die Adresse … gefunden." No set exists for this delivery address.
„Keine Standardwerte für das Land … gefunden." No set exists for this country of destination.
„Kein Empfängerland/Bestimmungsland gefunden." Set the Bestimmungsland first, or choose a consignee that has a country.

Save default values

Once you have filled in a declaration well enough for it to serve as a template:

  1. In the Standardwerte speichern field, choose the kind you want.
  2. Click speichern (save).
  3. A confirmation appears briefly at the top of the screen.

If a set already exists for that kind, it is overwritten. There is exactly one set per kind: one general, one per delivery address and one per country of destination.

Note

When saving for a country, the Bestimmungsland of the declaration is used; if that is empty, the consignee's country. If both are missing, an error message appears.

Copy the data from another delivery

Often the fastest template is the last comparable export.

  1. In the Vorgabewerte aus anderem Versand area, select the earlier delivery in the Versand field. Only completed deliveries with a customs declaration are offered. You can also search by the consignee's name.
  2. Click laden (load).
  3. The chatter records which delivery the data came from.

Note

The same applies here: the individual fields are copied, not the tables. List entries of the source delivery are not copied, and existing list entries of the current declaration are cleared.

  1. Validate the delivery.
  2. Select the Art der Ausfuhranmeldung.
  3. Load default values or copy the data from another delivery.
  4. Add and correct the header data.
  5. Record the list entries: route, packages, containers, documents.
  6. Work through the goods items.
  7. Check and export.
