Installation and configuration

This section describes the one-off setup of the module. Allow around half an hour. After that the module is ready for use and you can continue with the preparatory tasks.

Prerequisite

Administrator rights in Odoo are required for every step in this section.

Install the module

  1. Open the Apps app.
  2. Remove the Apps filter from the search box so that extensions are listed as well.
  3. Search for AtlasPlus.
  4. Click Activate on AtlasPlus Versand Export.

Odoo automatically installs the required Inventory, Contacts and Accounting apps if they are not present yet.

After the installation you will find:

  • a new IAA-Plus section in Settings,
  • the menu Inventory → Configuration → Zoll - Hilfsdaten (customs reference data),
  • an additional Zoll (customs) tab on products and contacts,
  • the Zollanmeldung (customs declaration) checkbox and the Zoll tab on deliveries.

Order of setup

Carry out the steps in this order — the later ones build on the earlier ones:

  1. IAA-Plus base settings — access to the customs service and EORI number.
  2. Reference data and code lists — load the official key registers.
  3. Set the default customs offices (part of the base settings, but only possible after the reference data has been loaded).
  4. Access rights — decide who may see and maintain customs data.

Note

The dropdown lists for the export and exit customs office stay empty until the reference data has been loaded once. Load the reference data before you set the default entries.
